Reilly the Rottweiler found her FOREVER HOME!

Posted on October 8th, 2010 by Bernie.

UPDATE - Reilly found her forever home!  Woo Hoo!!

Reilly is a beautiful rottweiler, approximately three years old.  She has been spayed.  Pictures attached at the bottom of the page.

She is VERY smart and learns fast.

Reilly gets along with all people and dogs and even cats.  She will need strong leadership to avoid any bad habits forming.

She must go to a home with someone who is physically able to care for a 100 pound, very strong dog. and who can set rules that are in the best interest of Reilly and her new family.

Find It

“Find It” is a great activity to share with your dog. It helps stimulate the dog’s mind (dogs get bored!), burns physical energy (a tired dog is a happy dog) and increases human/dog bond.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

Dog/Cat Socialization

Posted on January 20th, 2009 by Bernie.

Does your dog want to eat your cat? With time and patience you CAN socialize your dog and cat. Every dog is different (as well as every cat!) so the period of time it will take varies greatly. Keep the faith…it can be done!

Separation Anxiety

Posted on January 20th, 2009 by Bernie.

As with any behavior modification, it is important that you have established yourself as the pack leader. With anxious dogs this is extremely important. In order to build the dog’s confidence, he must feel secure in the knowledge that you are in charge and that you will make decisions that will ensure the safety of the pack (all the humans and the dog/s in the household). If there is a lack of leadership, the anxious dog will remain fearful and confused.
